Welcome to my blog.

I am a photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa - i make my living shooting everything from weddings, contemporary family portraits to corporate PR and events, as well as some commercial advertising work.

I am lucky enough to have lived and breathed creativity, design and photography for more than 18 years. It is not my job, it is who i am.

None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for amazing clients who have invited me into their lives. I have been to beautiful weddings in SA as well as Malawi, Botswana, Mozambique. I've had crazy helicopter flights, been in the middle of a huge herd of cows, stood in a freezing river till the light was right all in pursuit of "the shot".

Camilla and Tredeau’s Galagos wedding

I have not been to Galagos for ages so I was quite excited to shoot Camilla and Tredeau’s wedding on Saturday. I was also crossing fingers, legs and anything else I could that it would not rain – especially since their ceremony was setup to be held outside. And right up till the wedding it threatened to rain.

Marcia and Kyle’s e-session at Irene Farm

This e-session was postponed due to rain a few weeks ago and guess what, i found myself driving to Irene in the rain. But we had all decided that we were going to shoot regardless as we needed to get some images for their custom guestbook for the wedding day.
