I love Jewish weddings. Yes they are hard work because they are non-stop, but I love them and I was looking forward to the party at Killarney Country Club later in the evening.

Day three… getting pretty tired now, I have been driving longer than I have been sleeping for the last 2 days. Fortunately it was a short hop to Sandra and Rob’s wedding – they were to be married at Red Ivory, a favourite of mine. Sandra had “requested” a stormy backdrop, but without the storm. I don’t know how she did it, but we got all that and more :-)

I arrived and Mandy was having the hair and makeup royal treatment so I shot the dress, shoes etc and got some cool candid’s while waiting for her to jump into her dress – and what a dress it was. It was an amazing dress, but it fit her perfectly. I knew Rudi would cry when he saw her for the first time.

Lion’s valley is about 5hrs from my house, but it could be a million miles from anywhere – it is so peaceful and beautiful. Laura and Gareth celebrated their wedding with close family and friends from South Africa and England at this amazing Lodge where the animals roam free. And by free I mean there are no fences between them and the lodge front door.
