I shot Aiden’s newborn pictures a few days ago, but he really was not playing along, so i asked Claudia to come back to my studio and shot a few more today. I am so glad i did, he was still a bit unsettled today, but muuuuch better :-)

Darian and Raymond’s Toadbury Hall wedding

The sky is blue. That was my first thought when I woke up staring out of the window. At first this may seem like a weird thing to think, but as a wedding photographer the fact that the sky is blue means you won’t be asked what your plan B is, you won’t have to think of ways to keep the bride dry while standing in the rain and still get those lovely golden lights shots at sunset.

Amdocs event at the Westcliff

I shot a corporate event yesterday at the Westcliff for Sugar events. There were definitely some interesting characters there as well as a lot of security. There were also some amazing fire dancers, i played a bit with slower shutter speeds etc to get some pretty cool images.

Kirstie and Francois’s Red Ivory wedding

I have been to Red Ivory a lot this year and it does get a bit difficult especially at that kind of venue to do something different. This week I tried a few different spots partly because I had discussed this with Kirstie and Francois, partly because of the fact that the DJ had set up his equipment right in front of the wine bottle wall preventing me from using it properly and the fact that I just wanted to try something new. I think it turned out pretty nicely.
