Wedding photography: Olivia and Harry

I am so used to bigger venue weddings, that I am always a little nervous for a wedding held at someone’s home. Having said that however, most of the home or smaller venue weddings have a more hands on feel and the details are so much better as they have literally been made by hand with love :-)
So, I needn’t have been concerned, because it was another beautiful hand made wedding that greeted me when I arrived. That and Olivia’s dad trying to sort out the last minute things that always crop up on a wedding day held at your house.

I absolutely loved her bouquet – made entirely of buttons, just like the guys boutonnières, awesome, really nice details. And then I was introduced to the crochet bride and groom made by one of the grandparents. I really love these personal details. Oh, and the shoes, Nike Air, I kid you not.

My recent Cape Town trip.

The family and I took a trip to the Cape over the easter period, I have not seen my sister in years so we decided to stay with her family. This was also a great opportunity for the cousins to get to know each other.
Kian and Jemma, meet Gaby and Michael. Now go and play. And that was the last we saw of them.
