There is always a chance that when you have a wedding in february, and the venue is predominantly an outside venue when it comes to photography, that you will be rained out. But of course I never think about that because there is nothing i can do about rain. All i can do is wait for the heavy rain to stop or slow down so I can get outside and using my super cool red umbrellas, try and take some cool images. Of course, when the couple play along, it makes my job soooo much easier :-)
It was in an off hand kinda way that I said to Lindsay, my assistant for the day, that the clouds were building and that I thought we might have some rain later in the day. Who would have known that 3 hours later we would have such a huge rainstorm.

Murri and Grant only booked me a few weeks ago so i didn’t know them very well by the time the wedding day arrived, but something told me they were going to be a fun couple…
I have never been in a sauna before, but i think being in a huge tent at mid-afternoon on a sunny day comes close. Peter and i were taking strain, but as we all know, girls don’t sweat, they just glow. Franita didn’t just glow, she looked amazing, i am so looking forward to shooting their wedding in a few months time :-)
