Giselle Bunsh… sorry, Candice emailed me yesterday and asked if i could shoot some black and white headshots for them “…We’re really looking for not the standard stiff, corporate like photo’s……”. I said perfect, lets see how far from Corporate we can go :-)
As part of a quote for some advertising shoots i was asked to send the agency a link to my food / product shots. I know i should have one, but i have been a little slow in getting them all together. When i was rounding up some shots i found these which i really enjoyed shooting.
In fact – i am off to woolies for a butternut soup for lunch!
The day started off with us getting a little lost due to a map error, which saw us drive on past the turnoff while we were on the phone with the venue querying the turnoff :-) Fortunately i always leave for a wedding with time to spare and we were ok. Izelke was her usual bright and shiny self – it is amazing how much she smiles. And none of those fake smiles, the genuine ones where they come straight from the heart :-)
About a month ago Janet, from CRO Reservations, called me asking if I was available to shoot Jane and Reg’s wedding. It sounded amazing with a huge marquee on the polo field, loads of flowers, great décor, etc, etc – I really wanted to shoot this wedding. With the details being so well thought out, the dress and Jana’s prep was just going to be the cherry on top with the potential for amazing shots.
Finally the day of Franita and Peter’s wedding dawned. Not a cloud in the sky and more than a few butterflies in my tummy as I knew how much effort Franita (And Peter) had put into the details and all the preparation for the day.
