It has been a long haul for the old website – I would say in the region of 5 years since I updated the design.
The new site is equally simple from a design point of view, but with the emphasis being on the images. They are larger so potential clients can really see what they can expect from my work. The website starts with the portfolio and visitors can browse the rest of the site as and when they choose to.
One of the projects i have been working on for the last few months is the Seringa Living website and photography. We are developing the website as well as shooting some new elements for the site. The client has been doing a lot of rethinking with regards the positioning of the brand and has decided to go retail with a lovely shop in Parktown. After the latest trip to Kenya, we finally got to shoot some clothes for the website at the shop this week.
I know, I know, where have my posts been… I don’t have a good answer really. Winter is traditionally my quiet time for weddings, but it seems as though everything else is just going crazy with clients wanting shoots done, and Kitsch Design has also been so busy with client website projects etc.
Apparently there were 6000 entries into the competition this year so even though I didn’t get anything for my wedding or portrait work; I am very excited to walk away with 2 bronze awards in the landscape category :-)
