Cindy-Leigh and Andrew: Avianto wedding

The day started out well with the décor in the reception venue, beautiful table details and flowers made for good pictures. As we were about to head for the bride we realized that Cindy-Leigh had just arrived and was adding elements to the tables, so we shot a few more items before heading to her room to shoot the prep.

We shot the couple pictures before the ceremony and moved around Avianto to capture some cool shots before heading into the reception.

Earlier in the day I thought I saw someone who I recognized from a previous wedding, but I could not place her, turns out the groom’s mom, Alexia (I hope the name is right), was at a wedding I shot in Malawi for Clea and Stav and that all the people (well, almost) were going to be at this weddings, Wow, I was so excited to see them again – I really enjoyed my time with them in Malawi, one of my favorite weddings!

My highlight for the wedding was the bride deciding to do a trash the dress just after they had opened the dance floor. Someone came to me and said the bride is going into the pond… We ran out in time to get some shots of her trashing the dress. Wow – I have never done a trash the dress at the actual wedding.
Well done Cindy-Leigh!

I hope you guys enjoy the pics.

And thanks to Melanie for assisting me on the day.

Sharon Wharren - Thanks Quintin, photos look great.

Is it possible to mail me more ….. please

Thanks

Sharon Wharren
(Mother of the Bride)

Melanie Groenewald - Exquisite pics, especially the “trash-the-wedding-dress” pics – Cindy-Leigh has an exceptionally beautiful smile, somehow the other pics were far too serious for such a joyous occasion. Very beautiful bride in incredible surroundings. Photography outstanding though, well done!!!

Melanie (old school friend of the Mother of the Bride)

Quintin - Thank you for the compliment Melanie.

Veronique van Niekerk - What a beautiful couple. The bride looked so fragile – I am sure you were bursting with pride. Con Grats…..

Hansie Myburgh - This is awesome photos Quintin.

Janita Agema - Wow, well done, it looks great!

Nicolette Croucamp - Stunning Quintin. You have outdone yourself again. Well done.

Khaz - Exceptional pictures as usual Quintin. While my wedding was a while ago I still visit for the pure artistry of your work. The picture with the pitch fork is reminicent of the “American Gothic” painting that is still one of my favourites. Also a fan of the lets-trash-the-dress picture :-)

Keep up the amazing work Quintin.

Cherize van Tonder - Exceptional once again Quintin! You truelly are the best!!!!
