After many emails between the wedding co-ordinators and my office we finally booked Sean and Chantell Wittstock’s wedding at Oakfield Farm. I had not been to Oakfield Farm to shoot a wedding in a long time so it was good to be back – it really is a great venue.
As usual we started off with the decor and as promised by Franco Lee and Keryn from Polka dot marketing, who co-ordinated the wedding, everything was ready on time :-). I loved the black and red theme.
Like most couples, I think both Sean and Chantell started the day with wedding day nerves, whether they chose to show them or not of course – but as the day progressed they seemed to get into the swing of things and enjoy all the fussing and attention.
With Sean being Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco’s sister, there was a fair amount of security around and the media storm included an additional 3 photographers, which made it interesting to do things the way I normally would. Fortunately there were no issues with them getting in the way during critical times in the ceremony etc.
After initially only having a very short amount of time with Sean and Chantel, we managed to get a bit more time and shot some cool couple pictures before heading in for the reception at the end of the day.
Sean and Chantel, than you so much for choosing me as your photographer – Roland and I really enjoyed the day with you and your friends and family.
Here are some sneak peeks, I hope they bring back some great memories of the day. I will see you when you get back from your honeymoon.
Thanks to Roland for assisting as well as Keryn, Franco Lee and Storm for all your help on the day as well :-)
